In the documentary Strain Hunters South Africa, the Strain Hunters team travels to South Africa to continue the legacy of Franco Loja, who tragically succumbed to malaria in 2017. Arjan, along with Simon, Dust, and Oscar, heads to the Eastern Cape, a region also known as Transkei, where Franco had spent several years working with local growers.
